The Orthopaedic Oncology and Traumatology Unit of NGC Diagnóstica is a highly specialised multidisciplinary centre that performs diagnosis and treatment of tumours of the musculoskeletal system, including sarcomas and metastatic lesions. This unit stands out for its technical capacity to perform complex reconstructions by means of mega endoprostheses, bone allografts, muscle flaps and limb preservation surgery, always integrating clinical oncology, imaging and pathological anatomy for an integral management of the patient.
With in-house advanced histopathology and immunohistochemistry diagnostic equipment, NGC Diagnostics offers reproducible and accurate results in clinically appropriate timescales. Its ethical approach, the high quality of its interventions and its interdisciplinary model make it a relevant alternative for the management of oncological orthopaedics within the private specialised landscape in Ecuador.
