We are a social health insurance institution that pursues the welfare of the insured and their timely access to comprehensive and quality health, economic and social benefits, through transparent and efficient management.

Since its creation in February 1958, the Rebagliati hospital has been characterised by its efficiency and the high quality of its medical professionals who have made valuable contributions to Peruvian medicine.

This hospital has recently performed liver and lung transplants, thanks to the culture of organ donation that is promoted throughout the country. It also leads the way in hand surgery and neurosurgery, and runs important campaigns to encourage voluntary blood donation.
It also has a renovated oncology and paediatric haematology hospitalisation area, as well as specialised staff and modern equipment for the attention, treatment and care of children suffering from leukaemia and other types of cancer.

In 1989
In the midst of one of the most difficult social situations Peruvians have ever experienced, two oncologists, Dr. Luis Pinillo Ashton and Dr. Carlos Vallejos Sologuren; an insurance expert, Juan Serván Rocha; and a businessman, Víctor Hugo Gonzáles Castillo, decided to start a project that would not only change their lives, but also the lives of thousands of people.

In 1997,
we began offering chemotherapy services as Oncofarma. Thanks to our partnership with 10 prestigious doctors, we opened the first Oncocenter.

As we entered the new millennium, we continued to grow and help Peruvians cope with cancer. That is why, in 2008, we joined forces with Enfoca to create Auna.

In 2014,
we opened Peru’s first specialised oncology clinic.

For more than 25 years, we have been committed to society in our great mission to save lives from cancer by promoting a culture of prevention and a healthy lifestyle. We are also committed to creating structured oncology programmes so that people can enjoy the best care, doctors, technology and complementary services that enable us to:

  • Prevent cancer
  • Detect it early
  • Diagnose and treat it efficiently
  • Care for patients during their recovery or ensure their quality of life
  • Achieve the best survival rate for our patients
