SELNET “CELSO MELLO” Research Grant

In memory of Dr. Celso Mello

The fellowship was created in memory of Dr. Celso Mello, a Brazilian oncologist and active member of the SELNET network.

His commitment to research, training of new professionals and patient care left a deep mark among colleagues and friends.
In recognition of his legacy, this fellowship seeks to keep his spirit of collaboration and dedication to science alive by supporting researchers to continue their work in improving the diagnosis and treatment of sarcomas.


About the Grant

The SELNET “Celso Mello” Research Grant aims to promote collaborative research in the field of sarcomas, encouraging joint work between researchers in Europe and Latin America.
This initiative aims to strengthen local capacities, promote innovative projects and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge for the benefit of sarcoma patients.


Objectives

  • To promote translational and clinical research projects on sarcomas within the scope of SELNET.
  • To promote the training and development of young researchers in Latin America.
  • Promote collaboration between SELNET member institutions.
  • Facilitate the publication and dissemination of relevant scientific results.

Participation base Celso Mello Grant.
